Social Security Programme

Who is Eligible to become member:- 

  1. An individual who is an Indian citizen and comes from a middle-class family only.
  2. Who has completed the age of 18 years.
  3. Who is currently earn through Service, Business/Profession and his family is dependent on him. 
  4.  Individuals whose annual income does not exceed 50 lakhs.
  5. This is a voluntary Social Security program exclusively for members, based on the principles of crowd funding, with the Flashstar Foundation serving solely as the intermediary among the members.
  6. This does not constitute any form of insurance program, nor does it involve the collection of premiums from participants.
  7. The Flashstar Foundation has not obtained any grants from either the State or Central Government, nor from any third party or institution, to operate this social security program.
  8. Participants in the Social Security Programme are mandatory / permitted to contribute solely Rs.100 for each individual incident that occurs.
  9. A member under the age of 60 has the option to select either a single scheme or multiple Social Security schemes based on his requirements.
  10. Members aged over 60 years will be eligible to participate in the Senior Citizen financial assistance program specifically for medical treatment. However, financial assistance through the social security program in the event of death is not permitted.
  11. Under the Financial Assistance Programme, the financial support provided is either Rs. 10,00,000/- or the total actual contributions from members, capped at Rs. 100 each, whichever amount is lesser.
  12.  Each group may consist of a maximum of 10,000 members, which allows for a financial assistance amount of Rs. 1,000,000 (10,000 x Rs. 100). Alternatively, the financial assistance amount will be determined based on the number of contributory members in a group that is less than 10,000, calculated as follows: (Total number of members in the group x Contribution of Rs. 100 per incident = Financial Assistance Amount). For instance, if the total number of group members is 7,500, the financial assistance amount would be 7,500 x Rs. 100, resulting in a total of Rs. 750,000.
  13.  To become a member of this Social Security program, each individual must register their name with the Flashstar Foundation by paying a non-refundable one-time Member Entrance Fee of Rs. 100. Additionally, an annual Service and Account Handling Charge of Rs. 100 is required. However, if a member holds shares in the Flashstar Foundation, they are exempt from paying any membership fees or annual Service and Handling Charges.
  14. Furthermore, if any member contributes a donation to the Flashstar Foundation, either currently or in the future, that exceeds Rs. 1000, that member will be exempt from paying any annual membership fees or service and handling charges.

Life (After Death) Beneficiary
(Age below 60)

Individuals who are currently employed or in Business/Profession are eligible to join this group. In the event of the untimely death of any member for any reason, the remaining members will contribute a financial assistance amount of Rs.100 to the deceased member's family. The maximum limit for this financial assistance will be capped at Rs.10 lakh.

Cancer (Medical) Treatment Beneficiary
(Age below 60)

Presently, cancer treatment is prohibitively expensive, often compelling patients to travel abroad for care, with treatment costs ranging from 1 million to 5 million rupees. Therefore, it is essential for us to come together and pledge a minimum contribution of Rs.100 whenever a member of our group faces a cancer diagnosis.

Senior Citizen Medical Beneficiary
(Age above 60)

Typically, individuals retire from their professional careers upon reaching the age of 60. At this stage, their primary source of income ceases. Furthermore, many individuals over 60 begin to experience various health issues. While some senior citizens possess adequate financial resources, others may struggle to afford necessary medical care.

Survival Women Pension Programme

A person who is earning can join this group. In case of premature death of any member of this group due to any reason, other group members will provide financial assistance (contribution) from Rs.1 to Rs.100 to the family of this member. Such ceiling of Financial Assistance shall remain Rs.10 lakh.

Kid's Education Assistance Programme

If any member of the group has to spend more than Rs.1 lakh for treatment for heart attack, cancer, kidney transplant etc., the other group members will contribute Rs.1 to Rs.100 & provide financial assistance to meet unexpected hospital expenses. Maximum assistance is up to hospital, medical and laboratory testing expenses.

Natural Disaster Assisstance Programme

If any member of the Senior Citizen group incurs hospital expenses of more than Rs.1 lakh for heart attack, cancer, kidney transplant etc., other Senior Citizen group members will provide financial assistance of Rs. 1 to Rs.100 to his family. Maximum amount of assistance hospital, medical and testing expenses.

General Charitable Activities

A person who is earning can join this group.
